the pushie was basically finished up a while back but i've been waiting on a custom made bolt for the stem as they turned out to be pretty much unobtainium. i managed to find a guy in the uk that was able to help me out with a BSC threaded bolt in 5/16 stainless. phew!

anyway now that it's officially on the streets, if almost 3 month after the mrs' birthday, i figured i'd take a few shots of it as it ended up. also a good chance to test out the new camera we picked up at xmas

I love this, and to think so many bikes have been turfed as "trash" and are now being utilised again to make super cool retro bikes. Love it.

thanks guys. yeah, i kinda like the idea of taking something that is otherwise headed for the scrap heap and bringing it back to life. being a pushie this was a bit easier than some similar vintage motorbike builds might be but equally satisfying to finish up. the attention will be back on the moto now though

looks like a cool bike. should look great all fixed up

have a look here mate: Servicing Sturmey-Archer 3-Speed Hubs

there are a lot of different model hubs but you can find diagrams for almost all of them as well as parts. just need to identify the model and you're away
