    '77 Honda CB750 project

hello everyone, i have just posted this in the Facebook page of PCR as well as i am positing it here.
i have just purchased a 1977 honda cb750 in 'bits'. have the complete bike, most of electrics seat and tank are on the frame (everything is in sensational condition) along with the head light and full head. so mainly the engine is out of the frame and has been dismantled for gasket replacement (i have all these) and now the thing is putting the engine all back together- doesn't look too hard but is out of my league for sure, and then putting it back into the frame and putting chains, cables etc back into working order. the gentleman i bought it off is moving house fairly soon and i think has about 7 or 8 bikes he is getting rid of (not too sure what i never got a look in but keep a look out for a few oldies)
i did want a project to do from ground up so its perfect for what i was looking for.
    so my question to everyone:
would there be anyone out there to help me put the engine back together and get it back into the frame. if you know guys who aren't on Facebook page or if any of you could help- i am willing to pay cash, beer, wine for this favour. i just would love to get it running and get it licensed so i can begin on all the aesthetics and give her a new life.
thanks, any help would be much appreciated
    photos will come soon, cheers

Nice to see people restoring and keeping old classics alive.
I was in a similar situation 7 Years ago when I bought a 77 Z1000. I am OK with working on everything else but the engine.
After googling for a while I found the Z Owner Club, e-mailed them and later joined. The boys there are helping me to keep my old Z up and running.
At one of our meetings at my place last Year we had someones mate turn up with an old CB 750. I am not sure if there is a club for the old CB's here in WA, but having seen a few on the road it wouldn't surprise me. Maybe you can post your story on the WA Z Owners Facebook page and find someone willing to help, or at least point you in the direction of someone that can.
Love the legend, Kawasaki Z 900/ Z 1000, the Mother of all Big Kawas!

Hi Lucaz, Happy to help if you don't mind waiting a little while. We've just put two CB750's K5 on the road and have another two to go. Might be a couple of months before we could fit it in though.

    Cheers and all the best.
