    Another bit for... Betty

After the Demise of Dementa, and therefore the end of the thread Another bit for the ZX I've decided to record the Bits and pieces I add\modify to Betty the Busa.

I'll record important stages, services, parts etc, as well as in the Garage, but will post up the major pictures here.

Okay the first thing I had done was a Service by Kamahl at K-Tec Racing.

Awesome stuff, for less than $500 he not only replaced all fluids, did a service, completed a safety check, but he also removed the sump plug and cleaned the thread, fitted a heli-coil, and fitted a new sump plug.

Gave me his findings, and impression of the bike, also pointed to my next bits that will need to be replaced in the near future (fork seals and right disc), otherwise gave me the thumbsup for a quality ride.

    So to K-Tec Racing.

(only donwside was the Virago, whilst I was pleased for the loaner bike, how thew HELL do people ride cruisers with forward controls... its just wrong wrong wrong)

So you going to DIY the fork seals and throw Chinese eBay wave rotors on there? I have the fork tool if you need it.

The forks I'll give to Russell at DynoTime as he did the work on the ZX7R, and improved the performance for my manly frame...

And yes am thinking Wave rotors to replace the dicky one.

Love my shorties, same colour/style. Do those mirrors fold in and click back into place like the originals?

I find that, unlike Kylie's 750, the busa mirrors sit about the height of most car mirrors and I'm forever pulling them in for tight splits: it's really nice to be able to flick them back to the right position every time.

If you've used 1/4 turn fasteners for the hump mod, check 'em regularly. Fucking things don't stay put and you'll find your hump wayyyyy back down Tonkin Hwy
