Anyone looking for a cafe racer project?

Went to two wheel wreckers today in osborne park to get some parts and they had a kawasaki br250 out the front. looked in reasonable condition. I didn't ask about it but it looks like it has the potential to make a great cafe racer. it already has the basic cafe racer lines. Looks the same as this one.

I don't know anything about the bikes specs. Just saw it from a distance surrounded by the other bikes in the yard apprently they only made them in 1986?

Can you buy complete bikes from them? I thought you could only buy parts.

They won't sell you a whole bike, even if it's mint. They'll give you a bullshit spiel about how you can't register a bike that's been put on some mythical written off register. Walk into a licensing center and there's big posters that proclaim "How to register your (financially) written off vehicle". The real reason is someone will only pay say, $1000-1500 for an old bike. But they'll sell the tank for 300, the cap and key for 100 .. the clocks for 300 .. etc etc

That has 'semi sports lines', there is nothing cafe racer about that.
