    Aprilia RS250GP project2

    Hey there!
    I have yet another project underway..
    This time i am doing a full restoration of an 03 Rs250..
    Very similar as to what i have already done with my previous rs.. that ive sold a little while ago.. but will be doing more extensive work to it..body, engine etc
    Picked up this bike from a dealer that had it sitting around for a couple years.
    The engine had gone capult a number of times on them so they left it sitting in a corner.
    Only has done 10568kms!! but has been ridden very, very hard.

    Have pulled the engine down and noticed that there wasnt too much damage done but i am going to be doing a complete rebuild as i dont know the history of it..
    Will be rebuilding the crank, replacing both cylinders, pistons, heads etc..

    Was this u trailering it around somewhere between osborne park->freeway->great eastern or belmont somewhere yesterday. Seen one on a trailer an had a second look. Can't remember exactly where though

    +1 for those new flash Tyga fairings !! Nice bike .soon as the zx goes this is gan a take it's place !! Love strokers !! Never owned an rs but had a few rgvs . Looking fwd to ur updates!! Only Talking to peps the other day saying theirs more. Psarts avail now then when they were in prod. !!!

    For now im just going to respray her high gloss jet black
    Polish both rims
    Have the frame repolished
    Change the sticker kit.. Possibly of an rsvR (large lion on the side) with some other race decals..

    Plans are to fit the street version tyga kit in the next 6months or design something myself..
    I want it to have a more aggressive look like all new bikes do now..

    I would recommend staying away from polished rims.
    Way too much maintenance.
    Try nickel dipping, as the surface is much more user friendly

    +1 stay away from the polishing rims . My bike came with a delkelvic polished front . My god!!! Shes get in painted ASAP!!! The actual rim part is ok . It's the spokes that destroy my hands! Polishing wise .

    Was this the. Rs250 from 1 of the cause way bike shops in the trader the other day ??

    The new tyga rs fairing looks pretty damn smart I thought !
