I REJECT YOUR REALITY AND SUBSTITUTE MY OWN
I actually like it (I was cringing in anticipation).![]()
Yamaha MT-01: R1 front end, 1670cc V-twin, Staintune pipes, Power Commander, BMC filter, braided lines, Repsol orange rim stripes.
Get a second opinion, or maybe just some real news.

Looks sicknuts! Love it.

Think it works gives it that late 70s early 80s look
Reminds me of the MZ, I think it needs to be bigger.
Yeah Nice![]()
There are two questions in life.
1:Which way do I go
2:Whats the lap record.
For some reason I read it as fender, so I'm looking at he picture thinking "where's the fender, oh that must be a before picture, scroll down, no no other picture, OK whats going on, re-read,... oh...fairing".
So not being familiar with either model and being able to look at that picture without the FAIRING sticking out like dog balls and looking out of place, I think it suits it.
Is it practical in terms of riding comfort? If not bin it, I don't think it suits, looks kind of like an afterthought.

Ehhh... odd looking street fighter imo.

The line of the bottom of the screen and the tank are not parallel.
It loses symmetry, but is fixable and would look good. Like the rest of your bikes.
Sorry but looks wrong

Personally, I think those headlight mini-fairings look like crap.
And the tail is a little too deep-bodied, looks a bit fat in the bum.
Colour? Would look better with a black frame - there's no contrast in the side of the bike, nothing to grab the eye, nothing particularly interesting about it.
Sorry. Overall, not a fan.
Captain Starfish is currently pimping:
Need your home theatre installed? MS Tech
Looking for awesome walls in your house? Custom Walls
Like scuba diving? UWA Underwater Club

Not entirely convinced. I think it is the disparity of styles that is not working. The Yam has angular, boxy styling with a lot of straight lines but the fairing is organic and blobby.
Plus the silvery blue with orange stripes is a Sixties thing but the the bike is late Eighties or thereabouts. In my eyes it looks like a cafe racer wannabe made up from bits purchased from ebay.

I agree on this last statement. Needs lowering to make it look better.
