Stator Cover.
After doing some reading I found out it was best to fit this once i had my wheels back on. Reason being that I could lean the bike slightly on it's right hand side and not have to worry about too much oil dripping everywhere.
Original cover
Insides
Cover replaced with woodcraft one, bits bolted in and gasket paste applied
Finished
Just waiting on replacement crash knobs and a few other little items, but at least it's back on the road..

I wouldn't have called that excessive. Decent coverage, sure, but not over the top.

I did'nt put that much on, the layer was reasonably thin.
Edit: No they don't have a gasket, you need to use gasket paste to form a gasket.

Power Commander
Today the postman delivered....
Power Commander & some Galfer HH pads
First thing i did was get on the pc and upload the correct map to suit my exhaust.
So back out to the garage and strip her down again
Tank up and fiddle around trying to reach the injector plugs.
Working from left to right #1 and #2 are easy as, injector 3 needed hands of a 2 year old. #4 easy.
All done, tank back down and fire it up to check it works before putting all the fairings back on.
Would have taken more photos, but it's so damn cold that my camera was starting to get affected by the condensation.
Overall install is easy, probably around 1.5hrs. Spent a fair bit of time fiddling plug #3.

Mate its far from basic. Its coming along really well.
This is exactly how mine first started.
Out of curiousity is the mid pipe powder coated ? I just noticed that just behind the can there seems to be some raw pipe work. ?

Mid pipe is not powder coated, Originally it had heat shields which i painted with high temp paint. Since the slip-on the upper heat shield is no longer, hence the exposed mid pipe.
Bike modding is very addictive.
