Never did like the cbr600 colour scheme with the grey mid fairings, but in black it just looks sooo good!

New wheels, well that's the one thing that i'd love to change coz i think it'd actually make a real difference to how the bike handles, still thinking about how long i'm keeping her before i justify putting money into wheels.

I changed my wheels to lighter rims, HUge difference, well worth doing if you plan on keeping the bike.

Hey Karlos,
Good to hear from you.
I'm sure your living it up over in europe right now.
Speaking of AHG, I'm getting more practise in before you get back, this sunday and again at the end of this month.

Looks sweet Sam, very distinctive bike - I recognised it at Barbagellos having only briefly glanced through this thread awhile ago. What's next on the list?

Clutch cover
Today another parcel arrived.
520 Gear conversion
Airfilter
Clutch Cover
Chain Adjusters
Only got time for the clutch cover today.
It's very straight forward. 3 bolts removed and cover fitted with new bolts.
Will fit the 520 conversion and chain adjusters over the w/end.
Airfilter will be done when i get more time.

On the 600 it's 525 stock.
But the weight savings in using the alloy rear sprocket alone is worth the change.
Here's a sneak peak
Original
520 alloy

Yes, std gearing for now. Can't handle having it rev too high for country runs.
If it was just a city/track bike, then i'd go -1/+1.

520 Conversion & Chain Adjusters
Ok, today we fit the 520 gear/chain conversion and the chain adjusters at the same time.
Front sprocket removed.
Original
520 front
Rear where the chain adjusters will replace the originals
Left side
Right side
Front 520 sprocket and chain slipped through.
Rear wheel bolted back in and chain fitted.
Right side finished
Left side
Full shot Right side
Full shot left side
The new chain adjusters make chain adjustment very easy compared to the original.
