I just blew mine out with compressed air, and drowned it in contact cleaner, I'll let you know how it goes. You can get the resin out with heat and a set of picks, but it's a prick of a job.
If/when I end up getting another one in the future, I'll definitely pull this one apart just for shits and giggles, but for know it still does it's job, albeit very richly.

Desmo, is that 748R the last one made with the ohlins front and back? what year was that 01 or 02?
What a R goinf for these days IF you can find one?

Nah, this in a '01, the '02 had Ohlins front and rear, and a carbon front guard.
I paid 20 for this one, which isn't a bad price all things considered. And yes, an awesome bike

I dunno. I think the black matching the rims and seat looks alright.
Although, if you were keen on changing the colour, I'd say white to suit the tail would look better than yellow.

Photoshoppers?
