So who has any expiriance fitting these.
I have some i want to fit but must admit to being chicken shit about useing a heat gun to cook my lenses apart and back together again. Any advice or can I be pointed in the direction of a person whom may help.

I Think that you will find that it is easier to 'cook' the lights in the oven for a bit over 5-10 minutes, It releases the sealant glue that the factory uses.
There is a fantastic writeup on the CBR forum
Projection and Halo Install - CBR Forum - Enthusiast forums for Honda CBR Owners

    Or here http://cbrforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=61093

The alternative to the oven cooking is setting up mini 'oven' i.e a cardboard box with a hair dryer or heat gun attached, such as here http://cbrforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101203

There is no exact method for installing them as bikes are different, and there are many diy options such as soldering up LED's and using bent acrylic rods as angel eyes.

Do you have a dedicated kit? Normally you would just open up the lights with the method mentioned, and fix the angel eye onto the reflector part of the headlight assembly, you shouldnt use hot glue as it will melt at the temperatures in the headlight.
There are other kinds of sealants that you could use to mount the angel eye, alternatively you could screw it or attach it onto the top part of the reflector (Which you can't see when the assembly is on the bike).

it is a bitch of a mod to do

if you are going to attempt it, definately put it in the oven. a heat gun wont heat the glue evenly and you'll have to pry it open bit by bit which will drive you insane.

be very careful how long you put it in the oven for because once the abs plastic gets to a certain point it just turns into jelly so you can seriously fuck up your expensive headlights if you are not careful.

also, if you are looking to buy halo kits off ebay, don't bother getting the ones from the bike stores that will anal rape you for a pair of $20 lights...
just get the CCFL tubes for lighting up pc fans...

and one other thing. make sure you fix the halo lights securely somehow. I'd recommend using thin wire and tying them down as there is a chance the glue might not hold and if the lights come loose they'll easily shatter/ crack then you'll have to do the whole taking apart process again
