Help! Where can I get frame hoop fabricated?

    Hi All,

Trying to find someone who can fabricate a "frame hoop" (at least that's what I call it -I'm talking about the piece of frame that loops behind the seat) for my cafe project. Essentially I need a 1in diameter tube bent through 180 degrees with a radius approx 175mm measured from inside the tube (if that makes sense). Ideally if the same person can weld it in that would be a real bonus. Don't need it done straight away, and the bike can be brought to them. Probably a really simple job for someone with the right tools, but that ain't me! The pic below is the look I am after -even the same model bike (CB750KZ). If you know someone who can help please send details (PM if you prefer). If you can help, even better!

    Thanks!

Any engineering shop worth his/her salt can do that for you and very quickly if you are willing to pay them for their time and materials.

Thanks Jamanthi and Quinn for your replies.

Guess a better question might be has anyone used a particular engineering shop for a motorcycle application and recommend them? I have no issue with paying for time and materials: I wouldn't expect an expert to give their services away (even approaching Christmas!). I know you have done a heap of restos Jamanthi -anyone you recommend? Have you used Allbend before Quinn? I guess with frame welding I don't need someone to f$%k the job and the bike at the same time.

Yeh.....I was a Boilermaker/ welder by trade and used to use Allbend all the time when they were in Ozzy park. I suggested them as specialise in tube/pipe forming of all dia's. I wouldn't have thought something like that would cost much at all.
