It started with a casual conversation with Mrs Hiho.
"I'm sick of you going out all the time and want to start riding again."
" But your back is stuffed"
'Well build me a sidecar so i can come on rides with you"
You learn after nearly thirty years of married life that a happy wife makes life easy. So it started with this.

It had to be different to any other sidecar i'd seen around so the seed was planted.
A good mate of mine has a similar background to me and so we got together and started the plan. First up we needed a swingarm of some sort. We decided to make one similar to the existing one on the mighty XJR. So where do you go for swingarm stuff? Gavin from GD Engineering. A phone call and a trip out there and he was on the job. Several phone calls and some subtle deseign changes an this is what he came up with. Love your work Gav.

We needed some other small parts to attach the sidecar to the bike and Gav came up with these.

We used the above in a sub frame that was constructed with 50 x 10 flat bar and custom cut for us by our own Creme from Action Laser Cutting in Bayswater. Thanks mate.
Photos in next post.
Edit: stuffed those ones up will try again later.
