Not 100% sure if I've picked the right section for this thread, however...

Due to Skippy making a slight mess of my baby last weekend, (SzyCo VS Skippy)
I need to buy a number of bits for my baby. I've had a quick search and made a coupla calls and have come across a site in America that offers prices way below anything I can get here, and I mean WAY below.




Having been stung by an American website not sending my parts before, I'm curious if any of you have used this website before and had no dramas, or can suggest somewhere different you have had success with?

This bike is like my girlfriend, only the best bits for her.. (as opposed to the wife who just gets what she needs ) Therefore apart from the fairings which I haven't decided on yet, everything else must be genuine.

To search parts go to www.babbittsonline.com and click on OEM PARTS in the red tool bar, scroll down to the “Parts Diagram Look Up By Model Fit” and type in the Make, Model and Year of the machine. Every part we offer for that machine will be listed on the screen and can be ordered on the website. Unfortunately, we can not take orders through phone or e-mail. Please note that we do not have the technical support to tell you which parts would fit your machine.

When placing the order, the shipping address and billing address must match EXACT. Due to credit card fraud there is no way around this. We can ship to PO Boxes. It usually takes us 3-5 business days to receive the parts in from our warehouse and then orders are usually shipped out the same day. Once the order ships, you will receive a tracking number by e-mail. Most orders are received by the customer within 7-10 business days.

Shipping is a flat rate; usually between 15-20 dollars, depending on weight, size, and MAINLY location. If the package is over sized then it may be more and you will be contacted by e-mail. The website will give an exact shipping cost, even before you enter your card number. Shipping costs for international orders usually start around $70 and go up depending on weight, size, and MAINLY location. International orders may take up to 2-3 weeks to receive. All orders must be placed online with a credit card or we can do a wire transfer, unfortunately we do not accept PayPal. That was the first thing I thought of..... I haven't called my bank to see if my credit card has any security against fraud in the US. I may even just buy something cheap-ish and see if it comes.

Bare in mind I need nearly 4k worth of bits, and everytime I order something it's gonna cost around $100 in postage

Yeah mate your credit card will be similar to paypal. Just ring and check the last day you can make a lodgement.
