Mockery - first 'Big' Bike
Well here's my new baby, which i've finally got pics of.
Hopefully this will become an evolution thread as i pour in love and money over the coming months.
For now, here she is, as purchased:
Pros - Braided front brake lines, new rubber, and a sexy single-sided swingarm
Cons - small fairing crack on LHS, some fasteners missing, some plastic degradation, and there's a lower cowl missing from between the 2 front fairings. Also the RH fork seal is shot.
Plans - Some airbrushing artwork, frame sliders, techspec grip pads, full-system exhaust, possibly a suspension rebuild and dynotune by Russell... maybe rearsets later on.
Should be fun!

+1
If you down near Freo I've heard of a guy who works at Five Star and rebuilds suspension himself privately. I've heard he's good. I'll try and chase up the number.

Nice bike mate. Were they actually released here, or is it an import?

Yep the TYGA RC211V kit is something i will do one day when i have waaay too much money. Love the look, esp. with this stubby GP-looking exhaust. Be way too loud for the street though i'm sure. I swear i saw one somewhere with an undertail pipe, which would be nice...
Pricey: I'm right in Freo, so that number would be great if you could PM it to me.
Zadok: Not sure if any AU-spec ones were released, this one is an import. 1993 in Japan, going by the Frame Code, but it's plated 1996 for compliance here.

That's not a stock exhaust - any idea what it is?

Onya Mockery - If you can ride it half as well as you were riding your 2 fiddy @ the track day in Jan, you'll be doing well.
Enjoy

Be gentle with him Maya.... otherwise you'll ruin him.
(my thoughts after riding next to Maya at a 'sedate' fwy speed... You Sure thats only a 400?)

Thanx!
wombat: the exhaust says 'Honda' on it, and it ain't especially loud... seems stock to me.
