My 675 from Track to Trick

Ok, don't actually know if this is a project but as the title says I have just purchased an 06 Daytona track bike which I am going to convert back to the road.
My intension is to get her looking trick in her original Graphite colour so everyone can envy.

First I will tease you with some pics of the goodies on this girl

    Lots of CF bits mmmmmm
    IMG_4988.jpg

    More CF bits

    Yes Arrow rearsets

Will put up pics as she is at the moment over the weekend.

The more Daytona's on the road the better

Did you ever have it on the track? What did you think?

my strongest advice is that if you take the 675 on the track, be prepared to continue to do so. bestest weapon ever.
just put ohlins in the front of mine to match rear. let's see if I can't go a bit faster

You tease you. You're going to love this bike.
There are lots of aftermarket parts available to trick up the Daytona. Let me know if you need a hand sourcing anything.

It's never been on the road in current form, not likely too either. Awesome bike congrats

Yes Ninjaa get your mind back on the project and yes you would have seen it around Barbs.
He sold it as he has got a new bike.
Was not able to get much done over the weekend. I did take off all the fairings in preparation for her new clothes when ready.

    Strip and Clean.jpg

I am still trying to score a LH fairing and have a few peeps keeping an eye out.
I am still debating on the original graphite or the sexy black....
So I am open to peoples colour choice

Ordered all fairing, windscreen bolts, in the gold. wether I go the black or graphite colour the gold will be the colour to accessorise with.

So after a clean up I have slowly started putting the road gear back on her.
Started with giving that TOR can a good clean up

    P1020110.jpg Shiny.jpg

Then started putting the rear end together. First the OEM fender eliminator as this has to be licenced and the carbon fibre heat shield

    P1020117.jpg P1020115.jpg P1020114.jpg

Tommorrow I will put on the nose cone and change the tanks over.

    Parts still to go on

    Hey Rita,

Bike is starting to come together real nice. You're doing a great job. Keep up the good work.

Personally, I think black will look sweet, and.................. I know where you can score a black set of fairings...

    Black or graphite?

    Red is where it's at.

Good luck with the bike man, should bring plenty of smiles. If you're unhappy with the lack of helmet locks check the thread below out, I've done it and it's extremely secure. Only problem is the lack of d hooks in Perth, I ended up ordering online off A1 framing or something like that in Brisbane.
