all these bits will have to come off..

the engine mounts came out pretty easily...

I had to remove the fairing mounts, I thought that leaving them in - could be useful for helping to string up the frame - but i found that I never needed to...

Here's the R/H side...

Here's the Centre Bracket, that holds the fuel pump and the fuel filter..

and here's the L/H side, which also holds the fuel tap...

all clean and clear, it's starting to look a bit more barren now...

Ok, I thought I could get the rear section off - by removing these hex bolts..

there's a clip here that holds the rear brake line..

here's the gear selector lever, that's gotta come off too..

and here it's been removed...

Here's the chain guide.. it's a bit chomped... gonna need a new one for sure.. I dont even want to hazard a guess at what one of these are going to cost OEM from kawasaki.. ( If i can even still get one.. )

Hey Euk, good to see you're still making progress.
I bought a genuine chain guide for my '92 Gix and it was about $50.
Still haven't fitted it though
Gotta pull the swingarm out to do it which is on the cards for the near future...which probably means it won't happen.
