the issus is going to yoga tonight, so i have like 2 hours to go for a ride, but i may wait until i have new diaphragms (sp?) for the carbs as the flat spot is a killer for me when i'm on it. i can't wait to get started on it i hope she has some plans on the weekend so i can get stuck into it!

I love affogato's, hope yours turns out good because not many baristas in Perth get it right!

thats the point, a really cool smooth cafe racer style bike. hence Affogato it has the hit of strong coffee but is smooth and silky at the same time

you do know this is a bike we're talking about ?
awww crap, now i'm hungry.. damnit 750z !
I'm thinking a nice creamy colour, chrome and some dark chocolate colour..
maybe do the tank a chocolate cream.. seat to match.. and a brown chequer over the top ? probably sounds a bit kooky.. but i saw something similar on a chopper a while back, didn't look too shabby at all.. ( and doesnt show up road grime like a white would )

dude, affogato is the perfect name for the project, fuck the haters, i like the yellow and check idea too, i would seriously suggest de badging it entirely, and getting 'affogato' made up in a decal, probably black (anything else will clash with the yellow) in some sort of caligraphy inspired font and put on the sides of the tank (maybe break the check line either side of it).
people will go "waht the hell is that?!" and it will be a cool name for use as a headline when Rapid do a feature on it.
(by Rapid doing a feature, I mean me writing up an article and them accepting it)

I have loved flat bars on GS's ever since I saw this bike
It started out as one of those American-ised ones with puffy seat and high bars for overweight tourers. Love it.
EDIT: On a side note, check out the location and style of the white stripe on the side, swap the red for yellow and...
