    SR250 Hack

Hi everyone, i came across my new bike in some old for sale thread on PSB and decided to join and post some pics of what I've done so far.

    As I bought it

After stripping unwanted parts and cleaning her up a bit. I gave the motor a full service and fixed up a lot of little problems.

I hope this is acceptable and not blasphemous... with a bonny pipe.

And after a few good rides, the starter motor brushes are toast. Hopefully pick up a new starter tomorrow and re-assemble.

Hey brethren, I hope to get a new starter today. I've got a bunch of parts in the mail, a new speedo cable, an engine bolt kit, a rebuild kit for the toasted starter. I've got an aftermarket, small chrome speedo. Then I need to get some shock gators, bobber style guards, front indicators. Also plan on fitting a new clutch and kick start next time I open the case. Then clean up the motor, maybe a professionally trimmed seat and some paint!

sweet, should be a cool lil runner. i'd chop the rear frame down a bit and put a half loop on there or section of tube between the 2 shocks. it would finish the back end off nicely i reckon. just a thought.....

Yeah, the back section looks a little unfinished at the moment. Sweet project though, looking forward to this!
