Yellow. If you go white, you'll hit the salt and disappear

I know someone setting up a microsquirt (megasquirts little brother) for his rz500 project. Seems like a pretty big job (although he had to fabricate a throttle body arrangement for that, because it's a v4 carby two stroke ).

Can't wait to see this thing in motion...

Problem with the microsquirt is it's proprietary which means you can tweak the hardware to what you need.

It's only as much work as converting any non injected vehicle to injection

    can or can't?

I thought it was mostly just a scaled down version?

True about the work, it was the coding that people do that seems too hard to me
Although I would imagine the fuel maps would be somewhat different for a two stroke to a four stroke.

    Still DIY customisation FTMFW!

Sorry yeh that was can't, with the megasquirt it come as a base kit and then you just grab what else you need, take the busa for example, it runs coil on plug ignition like most bike so you just grab the extra components to build the extra ignition circuts, The busa also runs a sensor on the crank and the cams so again it's just a matter of grabbing the extra components for the cam sensor.

The microsquirt also doesnt (last time i checked) allow you to run the "extra" code which is an addon hardware tweak with different firmware for things like launch control, traction control, NOS control the list is endless.

Tys - Ahhh, I see. (said the blind man)

What about green, with a big yellow kangaroo on the sides?

    Fastest roo ever

    Edit:

Actually, theres some history that makes it more interesting!

The boxing kangaroo is a national personification of Australia, frequently seen in popular culture.
The image of the boxing kangaroo Jack is known since 1891. Fifty years later it became a national symbol in the Royal Australian Air Force. The design was inspired by a travelling boxing show which had kangaroos boxing with men. During 1941 boxing kangaroos were stencilled on Australian fighter aeroplanes of the 21st squadron based in Singapore and Malaya.
The boxing kangaroo was the symbol for the successful 1983 Australian challenge for the America's Cup. The Boxing Kangaroo flag, a red-gloved golden kangaroo on a green background, was flown from Australia II. Alan Bond (owner of the Australia II yacht) owned the image and licensed it for mass production.
Unfortunately it seems that the Australian Olympic Committee now own the rights to the image.

    Black n Yella Terra.

White? For salt flat racing? Wot are you thinking?

(oh and contrasting colours would make for better visuals on film )

Howabout your own "Uniquely Tyson" colour scheme? I know your rule #1 in ya sig but building a showpiece of a bike like this needs its own Identity

I know it should stand out, but white looks hawt and you're not only going to ride it on the salt, it'll be a daily? ride too, so you want it to look good. yellow IMO says your trying too hard (no offense to people that love yellow, just my opinion) where as white just looks the goods
