Didn't see that tail coming, great choice.
What are your plans for the exhaust and will you be running a lower fairing?

I'm not usually a fan of that head light but where u " tentatively" placed it I reckon it looks good the lines of the bike work well with the light looking forward to the finished product

^ The ignition barrel and the back of the headlight unit is pretty bulky so my main concern was mounting it as close as possible to the frame. I’ve seen plenty of fighters with headlights that stick out WAY too far and they all look half-assed. Im waiting on a new front fender to arrive before I can actually mount the headlight permanently. It’d be a pain in the butt if I mounted it too low and it hit the fender when the suspension bottoms out!

I’ve already got a Competition Werkes GP-style exhaust (see pic below) and a belly pan sitting in their boxes waiting to go on The next few weeks will see me purchase things like fender elim, radiator hose kit, other bits n pieces so I can get the bike mostly finished up to the point of painting. The SSSA conversion will be one of the last things I do because its going to take a while to get everything lined up perfectly and I have to get custom sprockets. Im also going to get a few things ceramic coated (the header pipes mainly, cos they’re stained as shit!).

I already have the SSSA from an 2004 MV Agusta F4 750 and a 10 spoke rim to go with it. Thankfully the swinger came with everything I needed except the caliper (which I have since purchased). I need to figure out what spacers are required to line the swinger up with the ZX10 front spindle…and then figure out what offset the sprockets need to be. There’s still quite a bit of work left to go. Luckily the Perth Bike Show isn’t till next year!

^^Yep the 10R frames look great cos they're so thick when you look at them side-on :-)

I trimmed up the battery tray and subframe and put all the electrics back into the respective places. I also had to trim about 1cm off the back of the riders seat because it was rubbing on the RSV4 tail and wouldnt sit right. It looks good now

The Spiegler bar conversion came with a longer clutch cable and I can still use the stock throttle cables - I just have to route them differently. As for the MV swingarm, it is virtually identical in length across the pivot to my stock swinger. I'll try and scrounge up a pic from another forum.

Measuring up parts in Imperial Units from countries that manufacture in Metric, I'll be impressed if anything fits....

haha yeah it's all of the above excuses HOWEVER I am pleased to report that I received a large box in the mail today with a whole bunch of goodies (radiator hoses, new bling fuel cap, integrated fender elim & engine bolt kit). I fitted the exhaust on the weekend and also (unsuccessfully) tried a few ways to fill in the gaps around the seat and tail fairing. I'll think of something to solve that problem.

I got my front fender in the mail also but it was warped during the fibreglassing process so the company is sending a replacement out free of charge I'll do a more in-depth write up about that later with some pics.

I got a front fender in the mail last week but when i tried to fit it, i realised that it'd been warped during construction. As such, it doesnt fit without looking like a pile of shit. I bought this from StreetFighter Inc.-StreetFighter and Sportbike accessories. One stop shopping for StreetFighters & Naked Motorcycles and i have gotta say, their customer service is EXCELLENT. I've bought a few things through them during this build and they are the best company ive ever dealt with. I would recommend them without hesitation. They talked to the manufacturer of the shitty fender who said that its "supposed to be like that"...i dont think so. So, streetfightersinc have sent out (for free!) another fender of a different style which they guarantee to be straight. Absolute champions

Below are a few pics of the dodgy fender:

Ive been very busy the past few nights! Its taken a little bit of stuffing around but i finally managed to relocate the ignition barrel! I couldnt have it up in the usual spot cos it stops me from mounting the headlight where i want to. I also took the bike to a mechanic and got them to wire up the headlights, indicators and fender eliminator assembly. Everything works I started the bike for the first time in 6 months last night and it sounds mint! The new exhaust has a real throaty growl. The cops are gonna love it haha
