It's a 250.
You end up cleaning the rear after you do the chain.
It's not a big deal.
Mine manage to stay relatively clean.
Hmmm - went and saw the painter today, said the fairings will be done yesterday...now maybe friday. im not holding my breath.
Still cleaning bike, painted the ugly as sin rear hugger....wish i could get one like JME's
Went through all my recipts, KTEC balanced and cleaned the carbies and did the valve clearances about 6 months ago, how often do you need to do them?
Also brakes were bled/new fluid about 2 months ago
Ive been looking at the suspension and does anyone know how much "bounce" or movement there should be in the front forks and main spring?
i might try and measure that today![]()
Only 3 or so inches of travel I would imagine.
It really comes down to the bike and personal preference, some people like tighter suspension, some people like the softer stuff because it's a little more forgiving...
Springs and seals are exxy, you might be better off dropping some heavier oil if you want stiff er suspension.
I have the manual if you want it. Has all the factory settings.
Yer thats ULTIMATE

Nice work lawrence, hope the bike comes out nice and ghey to suit your helmet coverI'll have to organise another ultimate ride soon too.
PSB - It doesn't matter how right you are. If you aren't in with the crowd who thinks they are the in crowd because they post a lot, then you are wrong.

WOOT!
had the seats recovered in black and new foam put in them, got them back yesterday, dropped into the painter today. fairings are all prepped except one side fairing where the primer has reacted somehow?? to the old paint. He's going to finish that up over the weekend and paint it.
now i was eying off a car he is painting in a beautiful metalic candy apple red. He lcommented that the red would look shitloads better on my bike than black. sooo now its going to be sexy metalic candy apple red
oh and ive got new black and chrome grips coming from singapore, dont know how well they will fit though..
will post pics soon

It's still clean isn't it!!!!
Going for a ride Saturday to have something silly done to it...
sounds good!
suspension should have about 50mm of sag with u on it (thats pretty generous compared to track, so im just guessing.) along the fork leg, and from the rear axle to a point fairly straight up. u may just be able to adjust the compression to stiffen it up cheaply, so long as it sags abit without u sitting on it.
oh and where did u get ur helmet cover. its not "gehy" its fucking mint!!
