Just wondering if anyone had any experience with this bike or its predecessors? Took one for a test ride today and loved it but they dont come cheap![]()

This one is on Bikepoint.com.au. I've got one very similar to this one. Well only differance is it's black. They are a nice bike. Still, depends on what you want to use it for. 2004 CAGIVA MITO 125 - BikePoint
Great little bike, but they need a bit of upkeep.
Were you the guy that test rode the little red one from S&T Motorcycle Art this morning?
TurboR1 and I were there getting some stuff for the MV and someone mentioned a guy took it for a ride earlier in the day.
I personally haven't ridden TurboR1's Mito yet (but I've been on the back of it) but its heaps of fun. As with all two strokes, they need a little more attention than a four stroke but are well worth it.
I had this bikes competition. The Aprilia RS125.
I loved it to bits i want another one. They need a little more attention than most, and the initial outlay costs more. But you will fall in love with it and learn how to push your own limits further and further each ride.
They encourage hoonism, ahaha.
Just wait till you get one, you will once you test ridden it. Most people have no idea what it is, its physically big but sounds small, and with the right rider they are a little weapon.
Dooo eeeeeeit!
EDIT: Ive heard a rumor of MV producing a 125? Maby the guy who told me got confused with the Cagiva cause now i think of it, he rattled off 525 at one point.
I love two strokes. Because they annoy the shit out of people.
The Cagiva Mito is made by MV
And there ya have it.![]()

the new one is ugly.. =P Ive got an 05 sitting in my shed, freshly rebuilt thats for sale, pm for details. They are am absolute blast to ride and look gorgeous. Great fun little bike, I rode my for a couple of years before I got a big bike, I just had so much fun on her.
haha yeah that was me at S&T yesterday, took it for a spin down Leach and on the river. Love the styling and more so the powerband(i got a cbr 125 atm so definitely keen for a power upgrade). Anyone ridden the cagiva and the aprilia 125's?
Which one would be the better buy in terms of value for money, after sale costs and spares?
Mito vs Rs, Its a personal choice mate, its the old ford vs holden. Neither have a significant advantage over the other. Both put out very similar power, both weight just about the same too. I think the biggest factor are the looks. Parts wise, I cant speak for the rs but its not too bad for the mito. You can get anything you need strait from england with less than a week turn around, at pretty good prices. Through Rick Gill parts can take up to a few months to arrive, its not Rick gills fault, more thier suppier.

Same for the RS, get everything from the UK.
I owned an RS, and ive ridden a Mito. Id be splitting hairs but id say the RS felt sharper, but she was new off the floor (2006) and the Mito was a 2000.
Save yourself the trouble of choosing and get both!![]()

My Mito will probably be up for sale again soon... she's running quite sweet right now and she is a 165cc as opposed to the 125 standard.
The universe likes speed. Don't delay. Don't second guess. Don't doubt. When the opportunity is there, when the impulse is there, when the intuitive nudge from within is there, act.
