    electrical wows wont keep charge

hey just got my self alil tzr only 25000km on the clock i had to clean it up and tidy but all seems good how ever, i conected a batt charger direct to the bike all lights and electrical stuff worked..i bought a new batt..all was good and i went and registered the bike..first big ride today about 30km into it all it all went dead.no lights or indicators..no pv cycle when i turned the key then i kept riding and i stoped and then had power..a slight amount..pv cyle worked, loom looks good no tampering fuses also good..does this sound like a regulator or rectifier prob..any light on the matter would be good,,,,thanks

Sounds like its not charging for sure.
Bendito did a write up a while ago, and its a good place to start to determine if its regulator or stator etc.

ah i think i just solved it...i think on the tzr as on the late rzs the regulator rectifier needs to be grounded directly to the frame i remember moving the reg when i cleaned up the electrics and modded the new seat..i think this is the prob
