Got any Lucky Strike (tank) images?
Fellow smokers.. I'm sure a few of you must have a stash of 2smoke porn on your computers... I'm looking for images of lucky strike fuel tanks and tail sections (going to get a rear seat glassed and painted). I'm trying to work out how to get mine painted to match my new fairing kit, top views are what I'm finding hard to get ... Anyone help?
The tail section should be easy, two colour with the stripes running across it. The fuel tank I'm not so sure about, again it will be red and white with stripes lining up with the same on the side fairings but what to do on the top of the tank?
This is one image I found .. from a later vj23 I think

The yellow is used as the background for the numbers to indicate the class that they were racing in.
Yellow was 500cc, blue was 350 and green was 250cc class.

The ones GL posted are the closest as far as I am know. There are not many photos of the genuine 2nd vj22 lucky strike scheme floating around.
The photos with the yellow number boards are the M model (jap L) lucky scheme. Laika has the N+ scheme. The vj23 scheme isn't the same as the vj22s unfortunately.

$2600. not bad eh? Slowly getting it sorted. Apparently the bike had just sat around for 18 months.
Put some fresh fuel in it - sprayed a little carby cleaner - starts from stone cold with using minimal choke 1st time! (and I've even been operating the kickstart by hand!!!!)
