"Remember it is Summer there." Made me laugh, back on topic, thats a bloody tidy bike.
"Take a step back and literally Fuck Your Face"
A mate of mine saw this bike recently, and is looking for a collectible at the moment. He's a finicky knowledgable bastard, and he reckoned it was mint. The seller also has an amazing NS400R for sale as well - the NS is basically in new condition. Both bikes have been for sale for a while
Somehow that bike looks familiar![]()
too funny..... good bids on it ... not at reserve yet
good luck with the sale...
i bet someone on here buys it![]()

Firstly, do me a favour and at least start one reply with something other than, and I quote, "mmmm"
Secondly, if you dont agree with the asking price it's quite simple.... don't buy it!
Surely you do not consider someone greedy when they initially outlay a large sum of money, then invest large amounts of time, hard work and more money, then ask for a small return on their investment. Where is the greed in that?
If you have a problem with this system, you will not be able to function normally in this society!

Famous quote
"Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."
(and mate your stupidity is pushing new boundaries)
HK, I can honestly tell you that this bike owes me more than the reserve - and its not 25k !
I fail to see where greed comes into it and your opinion really is of no consequence or significance as it is clear you have no idea what goes into restoring a bike of this nature.

Well I might react:
Copious amounts of time and effort went into it
Never mind a small fortune in (new)parts
If you would add up the time spend parts/paint/ on this bike, plus the initial purchase/transport costs it will go well north of $40K.
In other words, it is a bargain.

Mmmmm,
I can see a bit of a trend happening.
Wounds Heal, Bones Mend, Chicks Dig Scars and Glory Lasts Forever...
either way, i take my hat off to anyone thinking of restoring these old strokers..commitment!
Damn things are more of a disease than a commitment
When you get on board a well tuned one, then open it up and feel the rush of acceleration as you go through 7000 rpm in first, then second, then third........ you will be hooked!!!
I have ridden a few bikes since and nothing I have ridden compares to it!!!
Sure they don't handle that well and there are now bikes that can circulate faster than one but every time you take one for a ride you will get off with a BIG smile on your face!!!!!!
This bike should set a record sale prices folks...... if it doesnt a rethink of expectations is in order for a few of us....
Cheers
BW
