more up grades to the tzr...complete:)

well as something dies..another thing grows..
with the demise of the rs125/250 project..i was left with a bunch of parts that needed a home..my ole trusty tzr was in line for a make over... bacially the wheels and front end i had on the rs was transplanted to the tzr...i was going to just do the wheel but decided that id try to just bolt the entire front of the rs on as id all ready done alot of work to fit the trick wire wheels....
this is a big prob as the stem form the aprilia was much shorter...i wont go in to detail how i over cam the prob unless anyone wants to do it them selves im happy to asist..
but approx 20hrs later it was done....
i think it looks great went on a 200km ride today with no issues..handles better then stock ..i always found the original front too stiff...all fits nice even the ignition ...
rear wheel was not too bad need to bush out for smaller axle and make some lil brackets for the aprilia rear brake caliper as the tzr one was to wide and fouled the spokes...hope u dig it...

i now have the laft over tzr front(fitted with braided line and r1 caliper) and rear wheel if anyone is interested thanks

nice work! but what was the rs's demise???????????? I think i missed something. Got my Rs wheels (honda) back from spraying.. matt black, just getting them shoed with some Bridgestone 003, may have to machine the rear wheel to fit mito rear end. The front wheel weights 1.7kg less then the mito even with twin disks on???. Haven't weighted the rear but i'd be guessing alot lighter

well the rs was not a great thing to ride on the street...noisy viby and geared too short..fast and powerful but too anoying for something to ride every day for work, im sure that most of that could have been sorted out if u thro cash at it...
im about to buy land and build a house so gotta stop throwing cash at bikes for the moment, the tzr is butter smooth resonabley quiet and easy to live with dead reliable...and fast!! enough..lol for now.arwon those pics are the before..the pic i posted is the after with new wheels and forks..
