NSR150 engine number location
Hi all, can anyone help me with the location of the engine# for the bike mentioned?
so far ive looked under the gearlever, under the engine, at the back of the engine below the carb, and everywhere else i can think of without removing the tank and fairings. There is a tab below the clutch cover on the crankcase but it is blank.
i rang honda and they suggested the places above and if i have no luck to call back and the can look on the parts fiche.
Maybe someone here can help?
thanks, Nathan

Nathan,
For what its worth I can tell you the NSR400 is on top of the cases towards the back of the engine on the flat - look for a flat plate where a number should be, it may have been removed for some reason and the plate will be the tell-tale.

As I thought - Not a problem, you just have to get a new number from licensing - Honda did not match ennige / frame numbers from my research i did on the NSR.
When you register it they give you a number and you get it stamped.... or you go to a wreckers and get a busted engine - stamp that engine number on the block and destroy whats left of that engine so it cant be reborn.
