opps i did it again..dt/rz350 hybrid

Since sellin my tzr i was after something different, dual purpose as im surrounded by wilderness and sand dunes..well a few weeks ago i bought a couple of dt200 basket cases to build one good one..anyhow long story short it turned out to be a bit of a nightmare..and not really worth the effort, last saturday i had enough and decided to build another hybrid and after a lil measuring was confident that it would work... so i set to fitting the spare rz350 engine i had laying around into a dt200r frame.

mind you, last sunday there was one crappy rz frame and 2 crappy dt200 frames...
basically i cut the bottom cradles and welded the rz on into the dt..then i cut the rear engine mount from the rz frame and welded into the dt frame, then i completed the front cradle which extended from the oringinal rz frame and welded to the front of the dt chasis it all went very well and not too difficult i just took my time i had a mate help with the welding , i 2 pac painted the frame black then clear and it all looks like it was ment to be there i fitted some brand new 17" spoked wheels i had bought for the dt.. i also fitted a new aftermarket head light and switch blocks led tail light and indicators wired all into a rz loom i had spare ... i fitted a brembo rear brake built new clutch cables and new throttle...as well as a honda radiator
i just have a few lil things to complete... rear brake leaver, front brake , side tank guards front guard. rear exhaust hangers...prob some other stuff i cant think of

the only prob i have had is that my powervalves arnt workin i think the controller box is blown,

I saw this bike this week when I was over at Twinrock's place and its a hoot!

It reminded me of an article i scanned for another forum which was the instigator for my KTMaha, and I mentioned it to Twinrock who had never seen it, how cool is that, two guys in different countries years apart doing much the same thing, but very differently. Link to the article:

Good to see it on the forum m8, and really good work. Im loving this and it reminds me i need to keep on with my version. Its at the back of my other two yam projects at the mo tho.

PVs... is it the motor or the controller? if you put 12v to the motor it should just run in one direction and keep rolling (do it with cables disconnected!). if that works its the controller... hmm... I dont have a spare for that. If its the motor, will the DT one work? else an EXUP motor should do it.

yeah i will road rego it hopefully next week... shouldnt be a prob i did it with the mito/rz hybrid.im sure its the controller box for the pv... ive got heaps of spare pv motors i also have dirt wheels with tyres to swap when ever i want/need.
