Red face Rgv

I got this on Ebay a few weeks ago thinking i might get it back on the road.
It had all the fairings and tank on it,i took them off to transport it home. There are no lights with it or speedo it's set up for the track.
There is a big heavy gox of parts with it that i havn't looked in yet.
Is that Swinging arm right or is it off something else?

Thats the "late model" braced swing-arm, off a 96 (?) onwards model I think.

Common upgrade particularly for track use, as its stiffer.

edit:

Does it have a VIN number? I think that will have M, N, P etc in it somewhere which should let you know what model the frame was?

It's not a VJ23, it's a VJ22. and it's most probably a 94 or 95 (mine is a 95 and has that same swingarm). Looks like it's got Sugaya pipes though, noice!

Any details on the rest of the engine? SAPC, etc?

*actually they're not Sugaya's, they're stock pipes but with some different silencers?

More bits

This is some of the stuf that came with it.Lots of pistons a spare barrel and gearbox parts. How do you repair these race fairings? It's set up for the track and i thought i might put it back on the road but all the lights are missing,i might sell it and find a roady.

depends what the vin says, all the frames for the 22s were the same... except for the m models, they had an extra hole near the vin plate for different size vin plates. rear subframe is n model onwards

the swing arm is as andrew says a later model one, 93 or 94 onwards had the braced arm I can't remember exactly. 91 was the banana v1, 92 was banana v2, i think the 93 was still banana and 94 was the braced arm. I am definite on the bananas but not 100% on the year the braced was introduced. Laika will know as his is a 93.

its had the upper rear shock bracket rotated, pretty common to get more height out of the ass end.

the cans are some random brand, seen em on an eastern states bike before. I think they are made over on the east coast.

There is a spare cylinder with it,the ports look small compared to a H1 i think.I recon there is a lot of potential left in them.Trouble is at the moment i don't have much time to play.
