    RGV (88)mdl pipes

    Hi all.
Looking at getting a set a Tyga pipes for my 88 rgv. All i can find is info
on vj 22 rgv's and since mine is one of the early non banana swingarm jobbies
does any body out there know if a set of Tygas is gonna fit? Im hoping for one
of the sets which has a pipe exiting one a side like the originals.

If you ding one of the converging cones for clearance of swingarm your good to go. At this stage they aren't planning a vj21 set unfortunately.

would be a big dent, the 22 braced arm (which is straight along the bottom edge) has a reasonable size cutaway for the RHS pipe cone, so won't matter if you got side by sides or GP still the same issue

jolly moto do pipes for the 21

Is the banana swingarm the only thing that is needed to fit a set of vj22 pipes to a vj21?
Customer: Look, there's no other way to say this, but I didn't come in here to be insulted.
Bernard: Well, I didn't ask for the job of insulting you. In another life, we could have been brothers. Running a small, quirky taverna in Sicily. Maybe we would have married the local twins instead of wasting each other's time here in this dump. But it was not to be. So hopit.

Nah there's more to it, you need the suspension linkages as well. Not sure if you need the 17in rim, or rear brake mount (21 uses torque arm, 22 does not). Pretty sure the 21 shock can still be used. Any 22 swingarm will do though, just most like the look of the banana arm.

Yours has the 22 banana arm doesn't it? So you can fit 22 pipes.

It certainly does Lee, but not sure about the other things you mentioned in post #7. We'd love to grab some pipes for her, but I think we still want the pipes on either side.
