    rgv250 wheels swap

i am looking into replacing wheels to fit rgv250 front and rear ... is there another wheel that would fit straight into it ???

i am planning on some marchesini wheels but i am unsure if they make wheels for direct fitment to banana swingarm and front also

    anyone got an input....

    thanks in advance

im pretty sure that a gsxr400 gk76 front bolts into rgv with a 3.5 inch rim allowing a 120
The rs250 rims are a little heavier than rgv but allow the 120/160 tyre fitment and have the 5 spoke look you are chasing.
The rs250 rear shock is a direct swap, from what I hear, for the vj22 so you could butcher an ape for its suspension and banana arm.
This would allow you to go the same direction as the rgv'ing the rz except with better components

anyone know if any of the newer model gsxr wheels fit the rgv swinger.... surely there must be a modern wheel that fits the old rgv stuff

    e al

hey mate there is a full roller on ebay already rgv front and rear done...or do you have the roller already, modern gsxr wheels would be a huge wheel,in my experience this will only work against the bikes performance, i remember about 5 yrs ago just befor i started the mito350 i built an rz with tzr usd front end which was a direct bolt on and rgv rear looked cool and felt ok far better brakes.. but i went and rode another rz that i was lookin to buy and was suprized at how much better it handled and changed direction with the stock...but asthetics can be worth the cost of slightly slower handling at low speeds. even when i built wire wheels for the tzr i still only had a 130 rear and 110 front and that thing held the road like a kitten to curtins ...just my experience
