I woulda thought it would have been a lot more refined/finished after 7 years and 27k.....
'JayCar' programmable ignition made me pi$$ myself laughing, yes 27k and he hasn't sorted the jetting out, has no flywheel and resonator wired closed and complains about the power delivery. Has 120HP but is yet to go to they dyno.
Strong point is Laurie Alderton did the conversion(he knows what's doing) so would be good project when all the sillyness is fixed up.
a lot of the cost could be that he sourced a heap of gear when our dollar was buying 34p...... and a rgv 7 years ago wasnt 3 grand. Like you say, once sorted....
