    engine number, you can be issued with a frame #/ VIN.
    I think thy are RSV 1000 Factory forged OZ wheels

    I don't doubt you, it's just that it defies sense. Many frames are painted, a VIN could be seamlessly removed and the frame declared 'New'. The frame is the bike, the engine is not. Odd?

    I didn't realize Aprilia made the same error in judgement with the RSV wheel colour too
