    Rz350 1986

    Hi all,

I have a 1986 RZ350 which has had the standard pipes butchered by the previous owner who tried to modify the cans. anyone have a set collecting dust? Picked the bike up as a do uper for my old man to ride. Has a few things to do to get her rideable - new brake pads and wheel bearings top of the list. the ypvs appears to be disconected and the the cable locked in the open position although it rides reasonably well.

I think you'll have almost close to no chance of sourcing those late model RZ pipes - they're almost as rare as 350 barrels......

I agree with twinrock on getting the PV sorted - sounds as though it's been bodged open because something failed somewhere or the PV seals are toast and someones sealed it all up. What do you see when you shine a torch up at the PV coupling in between the cylinders / exhausts??

Yeah the cables have been disconnected and cable tied to the frame. Pulling the cables seems to operate the valve ok so it I would say the module blew.
