    RZ350 CDI I could borrow?

Any of you fine gents got 350 CDI i could borrow. As ive dynoed the thing with a 29L-50(250) cdi on it, I would like to throw it back on the dyno with no changes other than a 350 one, just to see what difference it makes. 350 ones are 29K-50, 1UA-50 or 52Y-50

    Nitro(methanol)

Nitromethanol, also known as RC-car fuel is an alcohol based fuel that burns faster and hotter than gasoline. This increases the performance greatly.
But as most people know, alcohol dissolves oil. And oil is what keeps your 2-stroke going. Also the added heat can cause your piston to over expand and instantly seize. So you will need a good lead-replacer (The type that goes into old cars that run on leaded fuel) to insure a good heat-conduction of the piston and cylinder wall. Also you will need special nitromethane 2-stroke oil, so the oil doesn't dissolve.
Don't use more than 15% nitromethane, as it will surely kill your engine. Mix the oil and lead-replacer with the fuel in the right proportions, shake and take for example 850ml's of that mixture and add 150ml's of nitromethane. Start the engine on normal fuel and run it till it is completely warmed up. Then switch to the nitromethane mixture.
Beware: You can't kill your engine by stopping the ignition anymore, the nitromethane mixture is self-combustible under pressure. So make sure you can cut the fuel off at any time!
side note: Ready to run "nitro" fuel (as intended for rc cars) is a mixture of mostly methanol (practically alcohol), oil (caster, synthetic or both), and typically has around 20% nitromethane added in though that can vary from 10-40% by brand or type. The percentage of oil might range anywhere from 8% to 25% with 15%-20% being the typical amount of oil found in nitro fuel. Up-jetting is a necessity to obtain a stoichiometric balance. A loose rule is an engine must burn twice as much alcohol as gasoline.

    Some feedback if it helps.

I chased all over the net and the Forums
for info on which CDI is better ok..

    52Y is the prefered unit..
    29K give trouble
    1UA have the retard issue...

I use a 1UA, and the thing goes like a projectile
leaving the muzzle of high powered rifle...
    but i don't take it over 7 or 8..
    and it's still pulling..
    standard cigars.
    tuned perfect carbs.
    air box intact, mostly..
Everything is easy, when you know how...

Thats what ive come up with as well robo, the 52y would seem to be the best one. The 1UA's had a higher HP engine but they knobled it a bit with the cdi.

I was going to try and book it in for next friday gozer. Do you have a spare cdi or just the one? will have to grab it off you and see if i need to make up a link cable or if it will just plug and play.

Hi, sorry haven't said anything sooner, that RZ flywheel on my motor didn't make the transition well, bastard thing knackered two pullers (must be original, damn it's tight), 'fraid the stainless cutting wheel and a gas axe were the only answer. May it RIP.
