    RZ500 front calipers onto....

    A '87 RZR350?
I know the caliper bolt up the the RZR fork legs but can anyone tell me if the calipers fit onto the disc's/rims?
Picked up a set of RZ500 calipers with new ss pistons/seals for cheap.May as well use them on the RZR & if not, well then I have started collecting for an RZ500

Eeek, LB that has to be most bizzare place to start a 500 build from... LOL!

I dont know if the 500s fit, but of they bolt on the forks then give em a go, else anything will fit with spacers...

I like the R1 calipers but hate the brackets... they always look sooo chunky... Personally... Id buy the Triumph calipers... modern 4 pots that fit the later RZs... simples...

Ive got FZR1000 calipers, discs and wheel on my std RZ forks by just making a bracket similar to the one below and some Top hat wheel bearing spacers.

Could always return to standard at any time... which I'd never do for fear of the chronic 16" wheel syndrome.

    Evil,Jon,Auf thanks for the input.
Should explain, the RZ im rebuilding is going back to "sort of" original cond.A blue/yellow '87 with the poxy round head light, have changed this to a '85 square h/l & thought the 500 calipers look close enough to the stock ones, but give abit more braking, seeing as tho it will be stroked
Seahorse,Ill be keepin em now ta.
