hi guys just got an rz 500 motor from redhiluxdualcab
in need of resto rear two cyls need work has been stored with a pot of for some time and not turnig freely
put in an hour or so and got it freed up and moving well but obviously will still need to do bearings
etc and a topend rebuild
so just wondering if any one had a pdf manual or even a hard copy they would like to share sell ETC

so part one of this adventure will be to bring another lifeless smoker back from the dead
part two will be to decide what bike to tranplant it in to would love to find the rest of an rz 500
but reality is the cost would most likely be to high so was thinking rgv conversion or similar
have seen this done with rg500 or maybe some thing a bit different still undecided as to final form

none the less i will proably be asking lots of questions along the way to 2 stroke nirvana so would appreciate any help given

aaronmvrider syd has done a nice restore and posted a nice pick on another forum V4 of a dude in melb who put one in an R6, he called it an R5. think the dude in melb may even sell some bits to assist the transplant. also about 6 months ago I seen a frame for an RZ on gumtree in Freo. and just buy an rz for 5 or 6 g

you wont feel financially pinappled at the end

Buy me a RZ for 5 or 6k that won`t need 7 -10k thrown at it (depending on condition) then give me a call. You are a dreamer that wants, but can not afford or doesn`t want to pay the going rate for anything. They're are pretty hard to find these days.
Back in the day when me and my mates got into road bikes.
I went TZR250, one went RG250 and the other a KR250.
We all loved our bike's individually and although I wasn't a huge fan of the KR.
They have since become something I search for to see if they're around.
Would love to see some pic's of what you've dug up.
