Redbook price is ~$6800, so real price ~$7200/$7500. Still seems a little high. $8500!

Yeah well redbook is a guide for aus prices. WA prices tend to be higher for most bikes, supply and demand.

It's probably a bit expensive, depends on the condition though. There's an 03 down in woop woop (mt barker near albany) thats asking 9500. Given that they aren't the most common bike around I prefer to take the approach of not being too put off by the asking price... but to go and have a look and make up my own mind on what's a fair price, then go from there.

I don't really know nsrs, but I didn't think any of the nsr250s were single sided. The NSR150 has a single sided swingarm.

I've been a little lazy on this lately, probably something to with the fact that I've bought a few bikes lately.

I've seen the RS250. It's a little worse for wear.

The KR1S is starting to look alright price wise. When I called about it last year it had 40000 on the clocks and had had the bottom end reconditioned as well (2nd hand crank apparently).

The 1997 lucky strike sounds like a bitsa. 97 should have a braced arm and the lucky strike stopped in 94 I think.
