Thanks - i did check it out.

This bike needs an engine rebuild (seized), a set of pipes (none fitted), paint job (some dick painted it black), forks and a full cosmetic restoration all-round... and it's a year young for me. Five or so years ago this POS would have sold for a carton.

well 4.5k sounds a bit steep for that particular one, but one of these ebay engines might be worth picking up for people with projects on. apparently it (the H2) still holds the quarter mile record for a normally aspirated engine at ~7.7sec. not bad for the 70s hey.

Couple more in the Quokka today... 1990 ltd ed Kevin Schwantz in Pepsi colours 5400 and 1998 black/gray rebuilt + spares 5700.

Also a 1992 for 1200 says 90% rebuilt top end - wtf is a 90% rebuild? Someone get bored with the project perhaps?

for over 5k, you'd want minters with no damage, hardly any k's on them, perfect running order and fresh engine.

nice sounding rs250 in the quokka

2004, special edition ?

a/m pipes, 11km - "like new"

$8500

few grand out of my price range, im sure it would be very nice though

also, rs250 track bike and a couple of RGV's, though nothing that sounds too spectacular

did sms the guy

99 model, 20km

has been in the quokka for around a month i think, will wait a couple more weeks to go check it out, might be more open to acceptable an offensive cash offer at that point
