TZR250 big bore

Hi anyone know if the big bore kits on ebay for Banshee will fit a 88 TZR250?

Ive heard that the TZR engine is different to the RDLC, Banshee ones? Ive got the opportunity to to buy a not to bad condition one for a "is that all" price but would want a bit more power.

lc motor is completly different. tzr motor is half the size of an lc/rd/z. tzr inducts into the crankcase not the back of the barrels.

Yes, Totally different Beast. TZR pretty much at it's limit "cc" wise unfortunatly, but hey still alot of fun!

i have owned a few tzrs they are a great bike sorry no simple big bore kit for them how ever there are options..u can buy 2 athena 150cc kits for the tzr125 and put those on..or dt200R barels can be made to fit with a fair bit of work, there is also a tzm150.. i was trying to get a pair of barrels for that i think they would be a great thing..but only made in south east asia. my last tzr i just did some port work and shaved the head and gutted the exhausts ..that thing ripped... easily as fast as any standard rz350 iv owned, just lacked the torque... in my opinion they are a much better engine design then the rz...and a great chasis to match..pitty they didnt make a 350..
