There's only a handful of VJ23s in Australia, just the one in Perth that I know of. So don't hold your breath for one of those!

There are two to my knowledge.
One is sugaya piped and registered in lucky strike clothes and the other is fully kitted in raceglass.
Both are members here on psb.
More chance of scoring with Jennifer Hawkins than getting either of those!!

Had a bit of money spent on it... heads, valves, zeeltronic, jolly motos, top end and crank, 4-5k there on it's own.

I would steer away form RGV, I think an RZ250 then later convert to 350, There is truck loads of mods aval. Better motor's will handle just aswell if not better than the RGV at the other end
Decent Bike cost - 2G with good paint ect.
RGV Front and rear end - under 800bucks and gentleman in NSW makes kits for the swingawrm conversion without frame mods. (So far all bolt on stuff)
and you have an awsome 250 which later on can change to 350(Barrells hard to get but I have a set with carbs manifold boots reeds and head if you choose to look at this route) or go big bore(not so good on the street an thirsty fun)

I think it is much more flexable and fun bike to mod as you go, also full race fairing kits aval. to make it look TZish.

    Cheers
    Tom

The rz can never handle as good as a rgv or rs when they are set up.

Depands on where you are using it track or road, I think for track RS is the way to go and road RZ Due to mods aval. and reliablity easy of parts(Except 350 Barrells and oild Pumps and CDI due to all the diffrent wiring combos). I have owned an RGV the worst bike I have ever owned...

The RGV250 is a great bike, the only model im not that keen on is the vj22,and that's only down too the three stage power valve that calms down the power delivery compared to the vj21 & vj23 with there two stage power valve setup,
a RGV ridden well into the power band will still give some ham fisted diesel riders a run for there money
Even a broken clock tells the correct time twice a day

Yeah, steer clear of the RGV and buy yourself a bike that looked dated back in the '70's.
    Top idea.
