Ignitech is available from the two stroke shop for around 250AUD posted
doesnt require a controller, can be done from a laptop (saving) from serial port
It also has dual CDI as part of the package

Zeeltronic is a programmable ignition/power valve unit. They differ from the Ignitech as they come supplied with curves. They can be programmed from a hand held controller(no need to cart a laptop/PC around) or from a PC.
With out a doubt one of the best things you can do for your engine.

am looking at one of these for my static Hitachi CDI (Ex TZ), have been using a electrex world CDI but unsure if the curve they have programmed (starting at 29 degrees) is suitable for my old AC bike and have had some detonation issues.
There are two questions in life.
    1:Which way do I go
    2:Whats the lap record.

Spoke to guy at the track with one on his RZ, said it was great, but then his bike wouldnt fire, no spark may have had nothing to do with the zeeltronic, just my timing to ask him about it was cause for some smirks. not sure if you can get rid of the wasted spark single coil system with the zeeltronic as you can with the ignitech, be good if you could, open up some options of coil packs to use. Economycycle in the US has the zeeltronic at a reasonable price, never dealt with them though, might be doing so soon and giving one a go.

i bought mine at economy cycles..... fully programmable curves for power valves also ignition.... reasonably easy to wire it into the harness

rev limiter, quick shift, digital tacho output are some other functions and you can run 2 maps if you choose to using a bar mounted switch

im running the zeeltronic on my rs250 and its awesome!!! i wouldnt get it from a dealer... go right to the maker and save your self money and drama.. im using the quick shift and its the best thing i put on my bike "besides the mods i done too" have never had a spark problem starts 1st kick every time, i have heaps of maps for wet/dry track conditions, the switch on the clipons isnt much chop, i got it but never installed it. i do all my programing via my laptop,
its a hoot being at the track and the seagulls come looking at what im doing with a laptop on a bike. the zeeltronic made my lap times heaps better and you can go up on the front sprocket and go down on the back, the pulling power is off the chain..
???anyone out there got a rs250 with 5mm longer rods???
