Nice! Careful on the throttle chopping.

Be more gentle on the throttle, don't expect fork seals to last too long being choppy like that. You just have to get more comfortable with being up high like that, whereas it seems you're getting up high enough, shitting yourself and backing off, then chopping it up again and rinse repeat.
You're getting there tho I guess.
use 2nd, it's slower

Well done, being a bit pedantic here and i'm sure the popo's have better things to do but.... if you're poppin wheelies & posting up on yootoob make shore yor numba plaits covered
...or you could just make sure that the video resolution isn't good enough to read the number plate, which he has done.
What lee said about the wheelies, too. Definitely getting plenty of height, just gotta work on throttle control.
FTP
i felt scared for you.
Degreaser?
when I started doing them i was real snatchy with the throttle and slammed the front down heaps due to shitting myself when it came up. With practice started to get the bike up then as it came down gave it gas and managed to get it to sometimes come up albeit very snatchy. Now with more practice not getting to BP but manage to slowly wind on more till it hits limiter DOH!!!. Now I need to learn (read grow the nuts to get to BP) or get some guts and bang it up to 2nd. May wait till I've got more practice under my belt though. BTW thats powereing up in 1st
2nd is a lot easier. it's harder to bring up, but once you get the hand of clutching it up it's heaps more controlled/slow/opposite of snatchy.
when it does start coming back down, you can wrap it the fuck on without it snatching back up again too, which reduces the speed of descent, and makes your fork seals <3 you that much more

i've tried clutching second and fkn oath its hard
how far up the rev range should you start? i've been around 10K and can't always get it up.
a lot of people seem to pull the clutch in, give a gentle bit more throttle and then just slip it out, which gives a bit of a hop and then off you go. you won't need to go as high as 10k.
there should be a point in the rev range, most noticeable in first, when you roll on in very small increments, and then the power kind of 'feathers off'. if you give it a bit more gas it'll realllly surge and start revving hard. that's where you want to clutch from, it should be around 5-7k depending on engine size.
pull the clutch in, give it a decent punch of gas and 'pop' the clutch out. you should notice improvements the harder you give it gas and then pop the clutch.
never had a proper crack at clutching but I do remember tom was saying he clutched his cbr600 up from about 50kms so 5000ish in second?????

That's what i've been practicing at, in first round 5000 then clutching it. Fucken hell it's scary when it comes up even a little bit. But my philosophy is if you're going to crash, it best be a slower speeds, hence why power wheeling is out of the question for me. Stoppies are (i think) much more easy and i've learnt them much easier than wheelies .... probably because you don't need as much balls![]()
Degreaser?

first powers up at 7K and clutching i start at 6K in second clutch and revs are about 10 when I let it out ... i don't need to be that high up Lee? try lowering my revs a bit. I've not tried clutching first ... power is enough. just runs out to top end really quick which I'm sure if I clutched it wouldn't happen as quick.
Tom ... love his stand ups!!
yeh i'm pretty sure he used to hold second for them and also pop it up in second at 50-60. You serious stoppies less scary??? I like the fact you can use the back brake if you wheelie to high. If you stoppie too high your fucked
