This was my last and first trakday on the SuperDuke March 2010. 2nd time on the track so trying to take it easy while I learn the bike. Skip to 9:30 if you want the best bit.

Just a bit hey. Shoulda washed of more speed earlier. But lesson learnt or should I say still learning!![]()

One day at a time.......we all never stop learning and any crash, you walk away from is a good crash!

^^Well said (even if you hop away really, lol)
Hope the SuperDuke wasn't too bad following that spot of offroading

Oh no! Much damage?
Lovin the sound of the SuperDuke too.
Agree. But it still sucked getting my shoulder dislocated.
I'm suprised how well the bike faired given the speed etc especially compared to me and my gear.
Bike was only cosmetic damage besides obviously replacing the crash protection.
Me on the other hand all I can say is having private health insurance helps. Replacing all my gear has also been expensive but saved my ass like you wouldnt believe.
Yeah mate thats the crash knobs and handlebar/brake handle grinding away! Still makes me grimace.
I think I tipped in too late and too hard and the camber of the corner changes on that outer edge apparently. I've been told not to turn in after the black line because of this obviously after I tried it.

imho you can early apex the basin, its an increasing radius corner
if you go in hot still tip in early and let it run wide to shed speed, no reason to late apex (except for the fact you cannot see the exit when you get on the gas and if you get it wrong you can end up in the dirt on the way out)

Looks as though trail braking and front wheel folded once off the race line. Unlucky... live and learn. You won't be the last person to do that at a track day
you where on your own there for ages in that session.
bit of a wiggle at 6.39 as well!

Ouch, man.
I remember having some fun with you out there, vtr vs cibby.
Hope it's not the only fun I end up getting to remember.
On the plus side, you demonstrated how best to show off KTM's off-road roots.![]()

Is it just me or was the gixxer rider at the 2:00 mark an epic straight line hero?
Just you. To me it looks more like he was being held up by the Repsol rider in front, and was waiting for a safe time to pass, which he managed nicely coming into turn 7. He took off pretty quickly after that point.
