there were a few ppl already stopped and i rolled into the middle of the road without realising....
where would i park, in the middle of tonkin highway?
after hearing that noise and feeling the impact from maybe 3-4m away.....it just scared the shit out of me....i was in shock

Park anywhere mate: in the slip lane where you had stopped (provided it is safe + you have hazards on), up on the footpath, on the islands ... wherever.
I witnessed a big smash on East Parade last year (four hospitalised) and everyone in the two left lanes just whacked on the hazards and jumped out to help. Witnesses in the right lanes moved their cars over to the verge then got out to assist, so the right lane was kept open for traffic.
Yeah you would hate to be an inconvenience and be in the way. Hopefully the people didnt die because that really would have been an inconvenience.
Im going to shut my mouth now because I think I will get a ban if I keep talking but I seriously hope you have a good look inside yourself tonight and ask yourself, what you would hope someone would do if they could be the first person to your aid in a accident like that.

I had a nose to tail in the lane next to me the other day on South Street, scared the shit out of me, no-where near the speed of that crash though.
That would have been bloody frightening
