    82 cr250r elsinore, clutch has no pressure

    clutch has no pressure, when pull clutch in does not go back out on its own.
    any ideas???

    Cable seizing? The arm that the cable conects to on the engine, does that come back when you let the lever off and just not the cable push back through?

    no the arm doesnt go back, cable is free. cable may be alittle sticky, i take the cable off and can engage clutch arm by hand and it does go back in itself but without much pressure. should i be able to engage clutch by hand? seems like there should be more tension on it then that.

    have you cooked it at some stage, sounds like either the mechanism seizing up ot the springs have lost their tension.

    took clutch apart, everything looks good, springs seem to have tension. when all together engaging clutch makes nothing move.
