Add a spare HISS key to your Honda CBR1000RR

Bought a new transponder key from Honda and programmed it - works fine (except the f*&^%ng locksmith messed up cutting the key somehow so it doesn't actually turn the lock...)

Must just be something about a previously "used" key that the system doesn't like.

hi bro....... i am from Singapore n riding Honda CB 400 revo...... just wanna check does this ting work on cb 400 too? cos i currently have the transponder key with me n wanna give it a try....went over to couple of bike shop n most of them cannot identify which is the CKP Senor.... can u help me on this.....

Sounds like you need to change bike shops, Elfian?
I can send you a photo of the CKP, but it'll have to wait over a month as I'm working offshore now. I never did get this process to work for me, though I see no reason why it shouldn't. I suspect my problem is with the wiring on my 400SF. I can tell the bike has been wrecked, before it was shipped from Japan to Thailand. I think the wiring is not quite right somewhere.

hey mate ive just bought a key off ebay, i will wait till it arrives and come around with a carton of your choice and program it if possible...i will get the key cut, any suggestion on how to carry a carton on a cbr?? haha and ive got the 07 1000 fireblade
