    Clean up!

Just thought i'd post some pics of the swingarm i restored on my VTR250!

Here's some before shots (consiquence of a big fat burnout lol)

Then i Sanded all the rust off the swingarm and primed it

    Then painted it black

    Here's a pic after i applied 2k laquer

Cleaned the wheel up and fitted a new battelaxe tire

Repainted and installed the shock and fitted the wheel

and here's a pic of it on the bike

    BEFORE!

    AFTER!

A lot better, i prefer the positioning on them, some people aren't as kean on it but i don't travel long distances anyway so it's great, only problem is that if i came off the bike the bars would bend in and i'd probably damage the tank (happened to me before) because they are only aluminium but i've been trying to reduce weight on the bike as much as i can!

Nice work guv, one one thing stodd out to me - that rear sprocket is looking pretty chewed out, might be worth a chance, and is a great chance to bling it up too.

In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Yeah well the bike was made on a budget as i'm very short of money, so when i get some i'll get an aftermarket chain and sprocket set

I've always wondered how well an NSR250 swingarm would go into a VTR...
