    New to riding?

If so and the bike has been dropped at some point it could be slightly bent handlebars, a lot of new riders I've seen brace with straight arms and with front braking all their weight pushes on the side further back and it puts them offline and they overcorrect and end up all over the road.

Another possible cause if the front wheel has been off or bike has been assembled by a substandard mechanic/technician it can be slightly offline and the forks slightly twisted, it's as simple as undoing the pinch bolts on the axle, checking that the axle is tight and then roll the bike forward and backward bouncing the front end with the brake, then tighten the pinch bolts. I've seen this a few times on even brand new Chinese made bikes.
Do you remember the good old days before the internet?

when arguments were only entered into by the physically or intellectually able.
