    Hi Guys,

fitting a set of Akros to my bike that I bought on Ebay.

Who in Perth will be able to remap the ecu to suit the pipes.

    Cheers, in advance.

Should be able to get the dealers to do it if you are willing to let them touch your bike, either that or download the map and buy/beg/borrow/steal a tune ECU cable from one of the lads around here. I think they are about $20 to buy, but could take a couple of weeks to arrive. There's a 5 page thread about useing them to tune trumpy 675's, and I'm fairly sure the cable is a one type fits all sort of deal.

Tokyo motorsport should have all the gear to sort you out if you want something a little bit more custom. I'm taking the RC8R down to them tomorrow for a general tuning sesh, will let you know how I go.

The KTM requires a different cable than the Triumph>>> KTM_Components
You could easily make one or Brett over at Tokyo Motorsports will be able to help you out. If it's just a TuneECU download that you want then it wont cost much however if you're looking at dyno time with a custom tune it will be in the $500 range.

Cheapest and easiest as mentioned is to get a KTM dealer to upload the Akra map (fairly generic map used for aftermarket exhausts). My bike was remapped by Causeway KTM as part of a service for a pretty reasonable price ($50 or so). A custom tune would give you a finer tune for your particular bike/setup, but costs more. The Akra map for my setup seems to be a bit off, but I have Leo Vince slipons instead of Akras.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

Ended up getting it all done by Causeway including a set of round akras.

    Bikes performs awsome now.

Thinking about an air box now
